Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam – Let The Beat Hit’Em

Clivillés & Cole were a groundbreaking producer duo and the musical minds behind the legendary American production and remix team C+C Music Factory, formed in the late 1980s. Known for blending house, hip-hop, and pop, they helped define the sound of dance music in the early ‘90s.

Together, Clivillés and Cole produced massive hits like:

“Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory (1990)
“Things That Make You Go Hmmm…” (1991)
“A Deeper Love” by Aretha Franklin (1994)

They were also prolific remixers, working with artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Michael Jackson, cementing their influence on pop and dance music globally. Their innovative production style combined house beats, powerful vocals, and hip-hop elements, setting a high bar for crossover dance hits in the early ‘90s.

Lisa Velez (born January 15, 1967) better known by her stage name Lisa Lisa, is an American singer. She rose to fame in the 1980s as one-third of the band Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam.
